About Our Dog
Most schnauzers are salt and pepper, but our little terror
(oops!), I mean treasure, is black. Schnauzers are great
dogs, and believe me, my parents went through a lot of
dogs when I was growing up. I had always heard what a
good dog a schnauzer is, but I never really believed it
until we got one. She is a joy to have and is a great
mother to her pups. She is AKC registered and has a bit
of an attitude. My husband loves it! She knows who she
belongs to in the family, and it's not the kids! That's not
to say that she is mean to them. Not even close. But
she will let them know if they get too close to either me or
my husband when it's 'her time' with us. She can be a bit
possessive! She loves to growl at strangers and give
them the evil eye.
Of course our dog is immensely spoiled. She sleeps in
our bed every night. Gracie won't sleep anywhere
besides with me and my husband. She probably came
close to having a heart attack when she had to spend a
night with her boyfriend!
